Mickey Yurco lives the philosophy of the knife in his designs and with the Epic presents a fixed knife of epic nature. Equipped with a D2 edge retention blade, the compact Epic with its full tang construction is ideal as a free-carrying EDC (blade length 9.4 cm) as well as a bird-and-trout knife for numerous outdoor activities and as a snack knife. The short, teardrop-shaped handle is striking, which promises a heroic hand position thanks to ball-shaped G10 scales, making the knife very easy to carry on the belt. The five studs on the handle provide stability and a harmonious look. Supplied with a precisely fitting Kydex sheath and a belt adapter.

Das Böker Plus Epic...
...sieht wunderschön aus und es ist superscharf. Es liegt durch die außergewöhnliche Griffform tatsächlich sehr angenehm in der Hand und lässt sich sicher und präzise führen. In der mitgelieferten Scheide mit Gürtelclip verhält es sich ein wenig grifflastig (also kopflastig, wenn der Griff nach oben zeigt). Es hätte für 5 Sterne gereicht, wenn an der Fangleinen-Öse im Griff keine Nachbearbeitung von scharfen Graten erforderlich gewesen wäre.
